| 1982 | Foundation of the corporation. Private company established. Products: digital time and temperature displays using bistable and LED technology. Production of the first fuel price displays. |
| 1983 | Analogue outdoor clocks now featured in the product line. |
| 1984 | Product line is expanded to include analogue indoor clocks. |
| 1985 | The company "Nölpp-Informations-Systeme GmbH" is established. The first radio-controlled master clock is developed by NIS. |
| 1989 | Development of our own slave clock movement with robust metal gear transmission. Production of the first radio-controlled, outdoor clock with hand movement control, the Quadro type. |
| 1995 | Introduction of new types of LCD displays to the product line and establishment of a dedicated software department for them. |
| 1999 | Development of the fully automatic, TELNU intelligent slave clock system for the same price as classic slave clocks. |
| 2000 | ISO 9001 certified. |
| 2001 | Rename of the company into "NIS Informations-Systeme GmbH" and establishment of the new brand logo. |
